The gadget, called MYHIXEL, was designed by researchers at Miguel Hernández University in Spain.
Patricia Lopez, CEO of MYHIXEL, said: “MYHIXEL is on a mission to help men and their partners take control of their sex lives and improve their sexual experiences.
“MYHIXEL is a scientifically proven method that teaches men how to control ejaculation, helping them to extend the duration of their sexual performance in a natural way, without the need for numbing pills or creams.”
The device, which looks a lot like a fleshlight, pairs with the MYHIXEL Play application , which provides a personalized exercise program.
This can be done alone or with a partner.
According to the designers, the device offers a realistic feeling of penetration, heating to body temperature with a “therapeutic vibration mode”.
Users can track their progress and save their achievements through the app.
In trials involving 56 men, the device was able to triple the duration of their sexual performance.
MYHIXEL is currently in crowdfunding for the final phase of its production and is seeking support via Kickstarter .
It is not known how much the device will cost, although it is expected to be available in February 2019.
