The bizarre streetlight post that’s proof Australia’s anti-vaxxers have lost the plot
- Australians took to the streets as part of the ‘Worldwide Freedom Rally’ on Sunday
- They protested the lockdown, mask mandates and vaccine mandates
- An anti-vaxxer at a rally in Sydney posted a baffling message about streetlights
- She took pictures of the lights and asked other anti-vaxxers what they were
A bizarre article about streetlights has shown how deluded some of Australia’s anti-vaxxers have become as the pandemic draws to a close.
A group of anti-vaxxers took to the streets of Sydney on Sunday as part of the “Worldwide Freedom Rally”. They were protesting the lockdowns and mandates, despite the lifting of the majority of restrictions.
Protesters also marched in other capital cities across Australia, including Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
An anti-vaxxer who attended the Sydney rally shared photos of the city’s streetlights to an anti-vaccine Facebook group and asked what they were.
‘OK, I would like some clarification on what these things are…. they were lit at today’s rally in Sydney,’ she said.

The woman’s baffling social media post was quickly deleted, but not before it leaked onto the internet and found its way to Reddit.
A user shared anti-vaxxer’s post in a forum with the caption: “antivaxxer angry at *check notes* streetlights”.
This prompted other users on the platform to write sarcastic suggestions that the streetlights could be construed as an anti-vaxxer group.
“(These are) brain-control devices that make you see things that aren’t usually visible in low-light conditions,” one said.
Another commented: ‘These are 5G boosters, if they’re on that means they’re sending signals to the nanobots in your blood from the vaccine…duh.’
“These are 5G scanners that double as a vaccination spray as you pass underneath. It’s a mist so fine you can’t see it. Special government operations,” added a third.
But one user replied: “Wrong, they just scan people’s vaccination chips and place an invisible mark on unvaccinated people using lasers, so they can be easily identified.”

Worldwide Freedom Rally protesters across the country rallied against lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates and vaccine passports.
Most restrictions have been lifted since the start of the pandemic.
Some 96.4% of the Australian population has been doubly vaccinated against Covid-19.
Covid-19 can cause illness, permanent health problems and even death.
The vaccines being rolled out in Australia are designed to protect you against serious illness, ‘long Covid’ or death from Covid-19.
They slow the spread of the virus and keep hospitalization rates low.
