President Muhammadu Buhari paid tribute to Professor AD Yahaya, former president of the Nigerian Political Science Association, who breathed his last on Saturday and was buried in Abuja.

“As head of the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Ahmadu Bello University, he has been an inspiration to many who have distinguished themselves as academics and administrators,” he said. -he declares.
According to Buhari, “The former Director General of the College of Administrative Personnel of Nigeria, ASCON, has deployed his courage and tenacity to bring the institution out of decadence and oblivion.
“As an outstanding public policy analyst, the late professor has offered his services to successive administrations, as political advisor to a former president along the way.”
Buhari added that “the eminent political scientist made Nigeria and the world a better place and deserved every bit of his fame.”
He said his death left a huge intellectual void in its wake.
The President also offered his condolences to his family, friends and the government and people of Kano State for this disappearance.
