Lynn Bjorklund has a perfect prediction in ACRR Pace Race

ACRR News:

Lynn Bjorklund had a perfect prediction of 24:00 minutes in the weekly Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) pace race in addition to being the top female finisher in the 3-mile distance on Tuesday at Pinon Elementary School in White Rock .

Other accurate predictors are:

  • Zeke Wilmot with a differential of 27 seconds
  • Chris Michel and Brian Newnam are tied at 42 seconds and Michel was also the best finisher on the 1 mile course recording an 8:59
  • Ted Atkins, senior with 45 seconds difference
  • Giacomo Capodaglio 49 seconds ahead

Catherine Hensley was the first woman to complete the 1 mile race with a time of 17:16.

In the 3 mile distance, Ted Romero was the top finisher recording a 21:11.

Next week’s race will be on Tuesday, September 6 at 6 p.m. and will begin on West Jemez Road (NM 501) across from the “S” lab site area, just past the two water tanks.

1 and 3 mile track and cobblestone courses will be available.
