Ronaldo has asked to leave United, who will play Europa League football in the coming season, if the right offer comes along and he is not on a pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia after he granted compassionate care leave for personal reasons.
Ronaldo had previously been linked with a sensational change at Premier League rivals Chelsea after announcing he wanted to leave the Red Devils.

CNN Portugal say the club will not only pay United a transfer fee of around £25m to sign Ronaldo, but will offer him a salary of around £105m per season over two years.
