Aljamain Sterling calls for match with Dominick Cruz

“The master of funk” Aljamain Sterling rebounded in the victory column at UFC Fight Night 128. Sterling got a unanimous decision against Brett john.

Thursday morning, the Serra-Longo product called the old one UFC Bantamweight champion Dominique cruz.

Cruz (22-2) has not set foot in the Octagon since December 2016. “The Dominator” lost his title to Cody Grabrandt at UFC 207. Prior to this loss, Cruz was plagued with injuries, but still managed to build an impressive 13-fight winning streak.

Sterling (15-3) made his Octagon debut in 2014 and was a highly touted prospect. Since then he has gone 7-3 under the promotional banner.

The New York native calls his shot and if it comes to fruition it will be the biggest fight of his career.
